Mansion for a Rat

While we still retain our interest in the fresh new bright shiny things of the daylight – we may find it just as interesting to explore the wonders of things discarded and forgotten in the dustbin of history. A free-form late-night focused on media, literature, and topical events.

Ann-Marie Hendrickson is a published author in the Junior Black Americans of Achievement (“Nat Turner”) and Junior Library of American Indians (“The Blackfeet”) series.

Homage to Catalonia is George Orwell's personal account of his experiences and observations in the Spanish Civil War. The first edition was published in the United Kingdom in 1938. The book was not published in the United States until February 1952 and it was not read by Ann Marie Hendrickson... until now!
